Reeds Gun Fair is Open Now!

Max Michel. Presented by Sig Sauer, former U.S. Army Staff Sergeant, Max Michel, is one of the fastest shooters in the world with three World Speed Shooting Championships, six USPSA National Championships, 3 U.S. Steel National Championships, 37 USPSA Area Championships, and nearly 100 others.  Michel is the only Action Shooter to win all USPSA Area Championships in the same season and holds multiple World Speed Shooting Records.  As an international competitor Michel has represented the United States in the last four IPSC World Shoots and returned home each time with Gold Medals.

Jansen Jones. Nebraska’s Jansen Jones has been competing in pistol competitions since his first IDPA match in college in 2004.  Jones now lives in Georgia and travels all over the United States competing in 3-Gun Competitions.  In 2010 Jones represented the United States at the Pan American Shotgun Championships and took home a Gold Medal in Standard Manual.  In 2011 Jones was the Nordic Tactical Shotgun Champion in Pump Shotgun and was ranked third overall in Heavy Metal.

Rob Romero. After buying his first handgun in 2005, Rob Romero realized his natural ability and has been competing in pistol competitions since.  In 2007 Romero achieved the highest classification of Grand Master.  After multiple match wins and a Top-10 finish at the U.S. Pistol Nationals Romero transitioned into 3-Gun Competitions and became a top-level competitor.  In 2010 Romero represented the United States at the Pan American Shotgun Championships and in the top three in his class.  In 2011 Romero was the Hornady Divisional Champion in Heavy Metal.

Scott Matthews. As the world record holder for shooting 5 clays from behind his back, Scott Matthews is in a league of his own.  In 2010, Matthews was signed by BenelliUSA to become one of Team Benelli's pro staff members .  However, his entertaining ability go far beyond shooting… his Matthews' background also includes entertainment in the WWE and TNA. That experience eventually landed him a job as a video game stuntman where he performed stunts for some of the top-selling video games in the industry. Today, Matthew's other sponsors include Federal Premium Ammunition, Champion Targets, Carlson's Choke Tubes, and Sure Shot Exploding Targets.

Reeds will bring over 2,000 guns to sell at special show prices, including many as part of the annual Tax-Free April Gun Sale.  Plus, special allocations of hard to get handguns will be available.  Pre-orders are welcome, call 800-346-0019.  Additionally, a special allocation of 100 AR-15 Rifles from Sig, DPMS and other factories will be available to purchase at the event on auction set for 11:30 on both Saturday and Sunday (50 AR-15 Rifles will be available each day’s auction).

New Shooting Shows, How-To Booths, & Shooting Games.
This year’s event will feature new shooting shows by World Champion Speed Shooter Max Michel from Sig Sauer and Benelli’s 3-Gun Shooting Show by Rob Romero and Jansen Jones… and, of course, the legendary Tom Knapp!  (Find more details on the shooting shows and time below.)  Plus, a new Ladies Only Shooting Tent will provide training, education and instruction for Ladies to learn and try guns made just for them.   There will be new shooting games to play as well, like a Spinning Six Plate Handgun Shoot-out , Shotgun Flurry, and AR-15 Pop Up Shooting Game.

Truckloads of Ammo!
Reeds will again feature their annual Ammo Truckload Sale at the Gun Fair. Ammo factories have already announced two price increases planned in 2013, so buy your ammo early at this event to save.  Shotgun Trap and Sporting Clay Ammo, Handgun ammo, and Rifle Ammo (even some .223 and .308 AR ammo) will be shipped in directly for the Gun Fair in special allocation of hard to get ammunition.   Pricing and available ammo will be posted on-line as information becomes available at ReedsGunFair.com.  With Shotgun Trap Load Ammo Pre-Orders will begin March 15th on-line only at ReedsSports.com.  There is a 20 case minimum on all Ammo pre-orders.

Free Gun Factory Test-Fire Tents!
Over 30 Gun Factories will attend and bring their factory sample guns at the gun range for shooters to Shoot for Free so you can Try-Before-You-Buy.  Compare all the guns you are considering by shooting factory sample guns, then pick the one you want to buy.  Factory staff will offer their sample guns and training insights at each Factory Test-Fire Tent at the range.   Gun Factories attending will include:  Benelli, Beretta, Browning, Bushmaster, CVA, CZ-USA, DPMS, Franchi, Kahr, Kimber, Mossberg, Remington, Rossi, Ruger, Sako, Savage, Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, Springfield, Stoeger, Taurus, Thompson-Center, Tikka, Uberti, Walther, Weatherby, Winchester.  Factories will bring the booths and displays.   DPMS will be bringing the Factory Semi-Showcase and a special allocation of DPMS AR-15 Rifles to sell at the event.  Several other mobile factory semi-displays are planned.

Pricing and Parking
Reeds Gun Fair is an annual event that occurs each April at Minnesota’s premier Hunting Preserve and Sporting Clays destination, Rice Creek Hunting Preserve, which is located 5 miles east of Highway 371 near Little Falls, Minnesota. Free test fire shooting is limited per factory booth. Parking is $10 per vehicle.
